.the overview! No body likes to be bogged down with really complex and over-done rules so we're only going to list the most important rules in the world and get straight to the Eutopian specific information and species. Please be aware that, while these rules are in place, these are only guide lines so any examples given are, just that, examples! If you want to push the creative boundaries go for it! The worse that could happen is we ask you to pull back on the reins.

.the rules! | ♥ | The Basics | respect all members, staff, and guests. This means no calling people names (even if it's a joke) and no implying inappropriate things in OOC chat. If you have a problem with someone politely bring it up to a staff member.
| ♥ | OOC | do not fight. End of story. Anyone caught fighting OOC in the cbox or any boards will be banned. This is a serious issue. It does not look good to guests, it creates an uncomfortable environment for the rest of Eutopia's members and it's just plain uncool.
| ♥ | Images | Do not stretch the boards. We, all staff, will find images that stretch the board and remove them. This includes avatar and signature images. If you post a 3000x3000 image as your avatar 'because the board resizes it' the image will be removed and you will not be allowed to have an avatar. large images that the board has to resize ruins load time. Don't do it.
| ♥ | Characters | absolutely no 'mary-sues' 'gary-stus' or god-modeling characters. Your character is not perfect. Your character is not a god. Don't do it. It's not cool. Don't Power-play. You cannot control another persons character so don't do it.
| ♥ | Post Count | there's no real post count on this site. Post what you can, when you can. Just work with what you can and enjoy Eutopia.

.the species! | ♥ | Equines | four legged, hoofed creatures; the equines of Eutopia are much like equines of earth. The only difference is they come in all colors, shapes, and sizes. This does mean you can have a pink and lime-green polka dot shetland; or even a yellow and orange shire. Go hog-wild.
Special accessories can be purchased from the store to give your characters more crazy appearances.
Starter Characters
- any eye color - any coat color - any pattern - any markings - any scars - any length mane/tail (including unicorn tails) - any type hooves this is a small list of examples
Purchase Examples
- horns - wings - extra legs - extra eyes - accessories (piercings, necklaces, scarves, etc) - hoof colors - hoof print shapes this is a small list of examples
| ♥ | Centaurs | Centaurs have a man/womans body down to the waist which connects to the shoulders of a horse. Centaurs equine bodies are a minimum of 14 hands and can go all the way up to 18 hands tall. They're athletic breeds and rarely come in pony size and very rarely are seen with thick draft bodies. The hair on their human heads must match their tail colors. Centaurs can come in any color/patterns and quite often have patterns on their human skin when they horse bodies have a pattern along the border.
| ♥ | Eutheans | eutheans are a unique species to Eutopia. Satyr's (half-human, half-goat) are a good example of what Eutheans are except instead of being goats they're ponies. Euthean's stand a max of 7 feet tall and have the back-legs of a horse (only two legs!) or the front legs of the horse, come in any color and pattern and live much like humans do.
Euthean males are different from the females because they have a mane down their spines. It can be a thick or thin, long or short mane but it must be present. The only males who do not have this mane are exiles whose manes were taken from them in much the same manner of scalping (or skinning). These males will have extensive scar tissue along their spines and will never be able to enter Euthean lands again.

.herds tribes & kingdoms! | ♥ | Herds | family groups and societies run by equines. These consist strictly of equines. Absolutely no Centaurs or Euthean's may be present for a herd to be a herd. Herds consist of a lead stallion, a lead mare, an heir and their assorted followers. Ranks can be organized however the land-claimer desires them to be. Land-Claimers can write up their own herd laws as well.
| ♥ | Tribes | Centaurs live in tribes. They're formed similar to herds buuuuut they're called tribes cuz we're cool. Centaurs are a typically Patriarchal society and so are most usually led by men. They don't generally welcome female leaders and, more often then not, will exile or execute a female that attempts to lead. Females cannot stand in as regents for an under-aged heir, either. Tribes are lead by the Cheif, the heir and 3 advisers. The Chief always has final say.
| ♥ | Kingdoms | The colonies of the Eutheans are referred to as kingdoms. They live in a strictly matriarchal society which means the women lead. This also means they're easily offended by tribes and herds sending male ambassadors and will easily go to war on a tribe or herd for this. Eutheans have little love for the other species and are often times found enslaving the ambassadors or other visitors who have infuriated them. A very 'amazonian' type people they aren't above enslaving their own kind from sister kingdoms.
| ♥ | Territories | In each category (horse shoe island, euthean lands, centaur meadows) there are 3 'open roleplay' boards where you can play your characters but you cannot claim lands. Under these three boards is the 'herd/tribe/kingdom lands' and it is here that you can claim a land or join an herd/tribe/kingdom.

.claiming a land! | ♥ | Step One | desire, drive, passion, time and activity. These are the things we look for in those that claim lands. You must be passionate about your characters and their ideals in order to stay active. You should have drive and desire for the land and the need to keep it at all costs (i.e. don't lose muse when challenged) and above all - just be active! Post when you can; we understand if you can't.
| ♥ | Step Two | Whip out those ensure-drinks, snap open your laptop (or notebook and pen) and write down your quick (or not so quick) claiming post and post it up in the Herd, Tribe or Kingdom lands. All you need is - name for your land - the desired character - the post around 100-200 words (or more for the museful) - a description of the land AND a picture (optional)
once this is done a staffer shall swoop in make a reply and create your herd/tribe/kingdom land!
| ♥ | Step Three | provided we aren't already over-run with unfilled herd lands and you received your land you need to post a member-count thread to be stickied (doesn't have to be pretty) and laws of your lands. After that all you gotta do is get active members for your lands and 'wh-bam!' you'll be on your way to conquering everyone or enjoying a piece of pie or whatever you want to do.

.breeding fighting & stealing! | ♥ | Stealing | stealing here on Eutopia is a good ol' fashioned 'swoop in, post to steal and swoop back out' kinda place. What you gotta do is get in there, get the victim's reply, reply that you're stealing them and LEAVE before the herd/tribe/kingdom leader can stop you. No one else can stop a thief. It must be the leader.
- in the event that the leader is posted as away and a steal goes down the next power in the herd/tribe/kingdom may assume the role of leader to 'block' a steal.
- in the event of a leader blocking you may A) flee and try again another time or B) fight for the victim.
| ♥ | Fighting | These consist of a challenge and an answer. You post a challenge, the leader (or whoever owns what you want) answers. You can fight for
- land - mares/women - foals/children - items - etc.
The challenger states the prize. The defender states the time, place and weather.
The defender posts in the Warriors Den first.
The challenger posts second.
after both participants have posted their arrival the fight may begin. Each character can have 3 attacks and 2 dodges per post and only 3 posts per fight.
More dodges, attacks and posts can be purchased in the store. You can also agree to the number of attacks/dodges and posts before the fight begins.
Each fighting post MUST have a small summary of ' - attack one is x - attack 2 is x - dodge 1 is x' etc. and have a number on the top or bottom of the post that says 'fight 1' 'fight 2' 'fight 3'
| ♥ | Breeding | coming soon !!
